Trap focus is actually for taking a pic when something comes into focus - useful for wildlife where you can set the camera up facing a pigeon stall, and it will snap when the pigeon arrives so you can go and wash the car without having to wait.

Hey, I just wondered: What is the options on the Timelapse functions? Is it only taking pictures every 10 second, or can it take pictures at 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,11,12 etc. seconds? Please answer! Great video by the way!
