  • Sweet sweet video. But more info about the car? Brakes, suspension, motor?

My 63 has a 454 with manual steering and drum brakes- lotta fun but no finesse.

  • this vido sucks dick

  • The point I was making was in your original comment you made it sound like all C4's were beatable by C2 and C3's, which i agree C4's were junk until 92 when the LT-1 came out even the early LT-5 ZR1's were nothing to brag about. I'm sure if I wanted to I could build a C2 to beat my C4 and then vise versa again. It came about because a friend said I couldn't take an old C4 out of my stable and make it out perform my new ZO6 which I was able to do and quite easily You can build anything with money

  • Okay, you're talking a heavily modified car though. Give me the same build budget and a C2 that's already cut up (so I wouldn't be ruining an uncut classic) and I'll take you on...I'll even spot you the extra 46 cubic inches :-)

  • You might want to look at my home channel before making that statement, there is a white Ligenfelter/TPIS 94 on there that I own that will eat any of the wimpy 405 crank hp ZR-1 and even does a nice job of destroying my 2008 ZO6. All this from a C4???

  • @BIGGREENLEAF1 I'd put the 63 I had against any C4 shy of a ZR-1 any day. The 84 Corvette had 205 horsepower and 290 ft-lbs of torque. It also outweighed the 63 by about 350 pounds. The 87 had 240hp and 345 ft-lbs, but was still a far cry from the monster motors of the 60s

  • Still kicking myself for selling my Vette, 10 years later. 1963 roadster with both tops, 327/340hp, close-ratio 4-speed, and that's all the options it had. Only downside was non-power drum brakes all the way around.

  • depending on how that car was rebuilt. if it had a modern suspension im sure it could keep up and power probly isnt a problem :)

  • Way cool I hope you have as much fun wthe the white one!

  • Yes you are correct a 63 is a C2 vette. It was a typo on my part. Thanks for the catch.......
