some of these people are right about one thing though... what they're doing in there... isn't really MOSHING... Moshing IS pushing people and running into people and everything really... But it doesn't mean they're wrong because that's what they do... It's not like they're going up to random people punching them. If you can't take the hit, don't join the pit. I myself though... like actual MOSHING, and running into people like a patient... as opposed to swinging my arms like one :p.

ehh don't hate cause it isn't your scene, i've seen metal head's start fights because they try and act tuff in brutal pits. it goes both ways.

I do think hardcore dancing looks a bit stupid but that doesn't mean they should be hated for it, it's just what they do.
On a separate note, come to the UK and you'll see some pretty insane pits...especially in London =)

Yeah man, there's a lot of courtesy and respect in metal pits. If someone goes down they get picked straight back up again and given a pat on the back on the way out =P

alirte wow i got of veiws since ive been away for the army. but let me put my 2 sence in hardcore danceing usaly happens when poele show up to concerts and no one wants to mosh so they do there own thing if u have a big concert say disturbed or slayer than eveyoen there is ready to go so it turns into more of a "mosh pit"
