@AaRonFLAUTIST842 the fact the the G is inline has nothing to do with a flute being an advanced, beginner or step-up model. It's only for comfort.

Yeah, same here. I am the only flute in my section with an open-holed flute and also the only with a B-foot. Mainly open holes and In-line g's are found on more advanced model flutes, and usually only serious musicians have those. So its not uncommon for there to only be a few with an open-holed flute. :P
