Southern Salmon n' Garlic Grits
by chef RADIO RAHIM

This is a classic coastal dish we eat in the southeast (specfically SC and GA). It is verylicious and can be served any time of the day. Note the secret sauce mix is crucial for maximum satisfaction.

ingredients:
salmon, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, lemon juice, salt n pepper, onions, rosemary

...bake for 15 minutes @ ~375

secret sauce: mix water, brown sugar, brown mustard, and honey

back in the oven for another 15minutes

Garlic grits:
water, crushed garlic, salt n pepper, butter, once water starts boiling add in the polenta and let boil for 5minutes (stir)...let em' sit for 10minutes before serving.

  • sorry no meat is halal, its murder.

  • I live on the southh on the coast (Savannah), and yes this dish is definately a classic! I like tilapia with grits as well.

  • Hip hop and cooking? Surprising! "Don't hate, salivate" Haha, awesome.

  • Is it really Halal what you buy? see on channel MercyHalal

  • I love how your making halal food! But it doesnt mean we have to eat unhealthily... I would never recommend 'improvising' with the brine out of a jar which usually is packed with salt and should only be used as a preservative and not an actual ingredient!

  • like how u use what is in that olive jar instead of lemon juice! LOL
