Is your GSD a plushie? we have one. He's a big goofball but very mellow (except where cats are concerned).

I have a JRT and 2 German Shepherds. The jack is older than the shepherds and she use to beat them up when they were little, then they got HUGE and she still beats them up. Shepherds are gentle giants.
