Suzy Solidor (1900-1983), a singer of French cabaret who incarnated a symbol of the female emancipation of the Thirties. Sang texts which openly affirmed her tastes and her choices as regards sexuality. In 1938 was singing in Warsaw.

Suzy (Suzanne), was born in St Servan ( just near St Malo France). The Solidor Tower is an ancient dunjon set on the river Rance. So she's bretonne, like Fréhel.

I never heard before that fabulous song.
