You must get the people to us Guerrilla Warfare.
When the people have no weapons, they must become organized and develop ambushes, raids, and traps for enemies with guns so their guns become guns for the people. Start distractions to catch them off guard and take them by surprise. Use cows to block roads, so they must abandon their vehicles when rushed by crowds. Everything around you is a weapon. It's time to get creative. Do what they'll never expect.

Meh.This has happened 1000 times to 1000 empires. No country lasts forever, its just the historical pattern.Although the many uprisings recently are quite troubling.

Use kitchen knives and slit their throats, hammers, or do like you said and be creative by purchasing firearms from the blackmarket. I bet you could get weapons.

You are right that they recruit people faithful to islam to do their dirty work. Whats keeping the young baseej loyal right now is claims that US and Israel are trying to weaken Islam and take over Iran. All protesters are labeled as brainwashed agents for Us and Israel.
That and they fact that they keep them fat and giggly with free food and high wages at a time where unemployment is at a record high in iran.
Cutting off the money flow is the way to break their support.

yes and no. Saddam was not a religious leader no but he always claimed to be chosen by god to defend and spread Islam. He was Sunni so he had support in the sunni world. He used islam to get Iraqi's to fight with Iran during the 80's. He also gave money to the PLO.

except worse i think, because although Saddam was Muslim, he was a political leader not an Islamic leader of a huge sect. That makes this a little more grim, I hate to say. And of course, i feel that an unfortunate perversion of God is to not see that their heart is your heart, is my heart is every heart, that they can actually recruit these people from those faithful to Islam.
Or am I seeing this incorrectly?

i just learned how to say ahmadenejad this year.

Hezboullah is mainly an outside force not internal but it all leads to the same people. Hezboullah is funded by non other than Khamenei. Thats all they do with the oil money. Create different military sects of soldiers and thugs. Baseej's main role today is to terrorize the Iranian population.
I just heard the news that Mojtaba Khamenei the son of the supreme Dictator has taken control of the Baseej command. This is not good. Same patterns as Saddam. There is alot of internal conflict.
am i correct that it is illegal to own weapons in iran?
yet people are just shot down on the street.
