How dare you use the sacrifice of the brave men who fought and died for THE UNITED KINGDOM in the first world war in aims to support the breaking up of what they fought for.
How dare you call Scotland a joke in the union. They bring much rich culture to the United Kingdom and offer a great amount more that that to it.
The United Kingdom has been based on tolerance and mutual respect and that's why we've always been united, side by side. It's horrible that people would seek to break such bonds.

the banks are what got us into the recession that we are in now, if the banks wernt too greedy and giving large bonus here and there, then they wouldnt of gottern into debt and lost all the money that they did. then the government wouldnt of had to give money. reminder that labour where in parliment at this time and it was THAT government that put all the money into the banks. pluss banks dont just run in one country, they run world wide so if they are world wide.

the term BRITTISH to people outside of the u.k just means English a term no scotsman like myself or welshman or irishman would like to be called or would wish upon their children. Im all for scottish independence but what about this English independence? a u.k without england now thats a union you could trust and respect Cymru am Byth! Alba gu brath! Eirinn go brach!

@TheTim2503 rightly said none of us were victims of say bannockburn or culloden but we are victims to the lies and injustice of the conservatives and their counterparts and we CAN survive without the union i think youll find scotland subsidises westminster or if you care to argue den why are you so keen to keep the union??

@nwlondoner9 You normally find yourself being only the English person on a London bus? That's hilarious! At least the buses in Dublin are full of Dubliners and obviously you'd get one from East Europe. The Brits are becoming a minority in their own country... that's so funny. I hope we don't start getting outnumbered by all the bleedin' Brits coming here. Those university fee are a joke and I wouldn't blame them for coming here... I just hope they don't end up staying.

@carlowgirl88 And there's another thing that's going to drive young people out of the UK is the university fees going up to £10,000 a year. At least in Ireland it'll be only €3,000 which is about a quarter of what it'll be in the UK. Many more young Britons will desend on Ireland in the years to come love.
