  • Yes but it is very possible with the known engineering tools these days, some of the gravity dams are built with the height of 300 meters with its body is completely from concrete

  • this wont work because losses on friction should be counted.

    Btw its not free because this is not a free energy generator, it a battery or energy bank, the amount of energy you give it the same amount you can take from it (if in a perfect system).

  • I had a similar idea using gravity and differing pulleys but my basic calculations determined it to be very impractical. My method was quite different to this though. Have you ever tried creating a small prototype to test the theory?

  • Lifting 300 m is as good as putting something on top of empire state building.

    You have mounted the crane on a face of mountain, which looks good in image but practically extremely difficult.
