Year: 2010. Submission for YouTube Play Guggenheim Biennial.

Techniques: shot on high definition video, edited in Final Cut Pro, original music added, video/audio speed is pretty much the only distortion in post-production.

Intent:
-To explore dreams and the imagination within the realm of a fictional television experience far different from the one that exists currently.
-To further blur the line between video and film as evocative, absorbing, expressive mediums of cinema; to retain the emotional core despite the rapidly changing materials, techniques, and aesthetic.
-To consider: the passage of time, mortality, the purpose/nature of aesthetic beauty, television as cultural influence, the relationship between the material and immaterial worlds, dreams, subjective reality, the expressive capabilities of images.
