@legu333 it is not "wrong" but lifting weights only makes lack of explosion and stamina.. believe me i was a professional athlete for many years, spent many years in gym and when i stopped active playing went outside to the bars to train. you can never get strong in the gym like at the bar... you just work entire body, your muscles, strings, bones.. you just feel A LOT stronger. And at your age that is the best. Just to know I'm not old I'm only 22, but been pro from 15-20

Great job on the flag!

well thats your experience - not more -
right training @ the gym can also increase your skills @ the bar.

@fraka899 why is it wrong to lift weights? i mean if u lift weights u get stronger? no?
-
@legu333 you need to get out of the gym, try to stop lifting weights because you get slow and without any explosion.. believe me you dont need weight if you do some correct exercises. work on lever, planche, handstand etc.. and you will see, human flag is easy

@legu333 nah it doesn't work like that bro, if you wanna be able to do a human flag then you need relative strength as well - I wouldn't say you have to completely quit weight training, but start incorporating more bodyweight stuff (obviously meaning you're going to have to cut down on weights but not completely)

@WTF12041988 Max is 6 ft tall. Start by tucking your knees up to your chest then slowly extend one leg at atime. Train hard. Cheers!
