@vistaman73 there are videos of the motors being tested. run for about 3 seconds and not with the carb or CD box the ship with the motors'
-
@vistaman73 They do test them. For about 2 seconds. Once they fire up, they turn them off.

adding a smooth port or ex-st dose not effect the engine .....smooth ports and paint are wanted when u are its maker....kinda like a car guy talking car and no clue on how they work.......even ferrarrii or any may-ger car comp have shit engins if going by what u say...
-
lets see what u call cu-wall-it-tea........bet u cant get didly running without having to buy an engine or parts..........cant call it poor if u cant do better......and u dont have to paint aluminum it don't rust.........

Best thing I can add is make your own gaskets for the engine. Try to get some gasket maker, I use the copper stuff, to seal the clutch plate cover and the magneto cover to keep water out.
Aside from that mine's great for going to work. Have a double leg kickstand so i can kick start it like a motorcycle and away it goes

there cheap... but they work fine, dont worry just use it and have fun=)

fuckin Chinese shitt !
-
i had a check at mine mine is just smooth alot smoother than yours you must of got a bad motor hope it works out
-
Well there is probably a reason why the complete kit is only $130. At least the parts are cheap enough.. I wouldn't even bother spending the time to port it. If the engine ever blows, a brand new one will only set you back $50.

vistaman - these motors are fun to have and build and tweek on. For the money u can't beat it. There's no reason to be frustrated bummed or whatever you are about the quality - these motors run good if you take the time and pay attention to details. If you can't seem to get your head around what these engines are, I suggest you get a franco morini engine and pay 600.00 - 1000.00 for it. And those motors don't come with all the extra to mount to your bike...CHeers.
they test run every motor before they send them out to make sure they work and dont have any knocks

@andy26111 I seriously doubt they run these engines. Do you have one? If you did you would notice the clean head, jug and piston. Trust me, they don't test these. They throw them together and ship them out. They wouldn't take the time to put these together just to test them. I wouldn know if they did test them, also they wouldn't run gas through them. Where ever you got your info, it's wrong. Sorry.

@vistaman73 i have two and they work great. i did see a video on hear a while back of a Chinese dude hooking them up with stationary carbs and chains starting them i forget the name of the vid tho ill have to look

@andy26111 That would be a cool video. So you know what I mean when I talk about how clean the engine is when you get it. That is what makes me really doubt the whole concept of testing them, they might inspect but not run. Cheers.

@rtripp352 Actually that video won't upload, what a bummer. I will have to try again another day.
