@TheEELeater fun fact: in the sailor moon manga, he actually has powers that kick ass! he never even throws roses... idk why toei animation didn't put his powers into play. they were actually pretty useful and made him more important in the manga series than the anime...

Is anyone else as TOTALLY DISTRACTED as I am at 8:24 because the sound effect that Ami's visor makes is the transporter noise from Star Trek TNG? And they make no attempt whatsoever to hide it?

As Takeuchi said, even if men have a true star seed (Sailor Crystal) they can't use them, only women can be senshi.

@kyokomirror Like I said, I'm not trying to say you were wrong, and thank you for the link you gave me...it's just that there were a handful of directors involved with Sailor Moon and Junichi Sato was the first, up until the end of the Ail and En story arc in the R season. Of course Ikuhara's bias does tend to show as Mamoru was a bit crueler to Usagi in the second half of R and he slowly fades away as the series progresses.
