In this two part video, Shawnee High School Principal Crystal Housman participates in a psychology class experiment involving shaping behavior and motivation. She is told that she must do something with the items on the table, but that I can't tell her what to do. The only thing I can do is coach her along, or rather, say "good" when she makes a move that gets her closer to the goal. She is also timed. The goal that she is unaware of, is to get the red marker, red crayon, and red pencil in a cup together without anything else in it. Other items on the table include blue & green crayon, marker, pencil, an orange highlighter, two paper clips, a lunch card, a sticky note, a fork, calculator, and two cups. Not going to lie-this is a very frustrating experiment for anyone who participates in this and tries to think too much into it. It requires much patience by the participant.
