There are so many places that we find it hard to choose.
We could watch the Nightly News or read the printed word,
But to me that idea is growing more and more absurd.
I mean the best place to gauge what is really going on
Is to read up on our blogs where the folks are never wrong!
Me, I'm a fan of BigHollywood and HotAir
And the Reason Hit & Run is my favorite one to share

Excuse me but I think that your sources are whack,
If you want to get the truth the DailyKos is where it's at!
ThinkProgress, The Daily Howler, and Media Matters!?
Those my friend will leave your Libertarian views in tatters!
But they all pale in comparison to the one I read the most,
I'm really smart so I'm always on the Huffington Post!
And I'm sorry but they're never wrong at MoveOn.org
*And if this was Star Trek, I think they'd root for the Borg.

Our Blogs
They never stop
You can check my favorites, they're right there at the top.
And unlike my TV they are going all the time.
My bloggers are the best
And never get it wrong or else how could they write our blogs?

Now, I'm not saying that all blogs are lame
In fact I think that they are a great addition to the political game.
They break stories that would otherwise go unsung,
And it's not like the Mainstream is getting it done.
It's just that if you only read ones with which you agree,
You will never get exposed to the side you never see.
Try to broaden your horizons and don't rely on some dude,
Who just sits at his Mac posting his views on the news.

Wait, you mean to tell me that the bloggers are all jerks?
*No it's not that it's just remember how it works!
These people are the best because there's facts in their rants!
*They're just people like you posting news with biased slants
They aren't experts or smarter than the average Joe?
*Well some are but in general the answer is no!
But these guys are right! Go ahead and look!
*Seriously please stop posting these links on Facebook.

Hey DJ - Still great work - Love the song and the singing. Challenge though, to me, is ya need a new mix cause the words get drowned out in places - fighting with the volume of the music. Best :)
