We've gone without power for I think as long as three days, and that sucks pretty hardcore, especially when you really don't have a decent sewer system . . .

Wow :-s I think the longest I've ever gone without power is a couple of hours, but that's because we don't get the same scale of freezing conditions in the UK. Glad you survived the boredom-fest, and yey for reading! :)

One of the few nice things about my apartment is the gas heat and stove. I may end up in the dark but I can eat and be warm.
