Paul Shaffer played on Feel This. He may be annoying but you can't deny the talent.

Not sure where all the hate for Paul Shaffer is coming from, the man is a very accomplished musician. He has recorded with Diana Ross, B.B. King, Carl Perkins, Blues Traveler, Chicago, George Clinton, Robert Plant, and Warren Zevon (just to name a few). He has also been the musical director and producer for the R+R HOF since it opened, and I don't think they would give that position to someone who isn't qualified.

Adaran....not a Letterman fan but it looked to me that he did shake his hand as soon as he saw it was raised. That being said...I think Jeff's best song is "I got a line on you." Perfect voice.. especially for THAT song.

I love Jeff Healey but this was a very lame song to do on live TV. It wouldn't matter who played it, the song is lame. But don't get me wrong, he is a fantastic performer.

love him or hate him paul schafer is a very talented musician and composer,just goes to show ...you dont know wtf your talkin about, he`s played with so many bands...as a studio musician,he`s on all kinds of albums,and you probably never knew it!!!

If Paul shafer(how ever the fuck you spell it ) was any kind of musician he'd be out there making music but I geuss he's the only one who would put up with letterman's shit!! anyway healy rules and always will what vibrato, what tone ,what soul!!!
