RC Airplane: Hawk sky crash on maiden flight.

Erik saw my hawk flying and wanted to learn to fly a rc plane.
He bought a simulator and a sky hawk. After some hours on the simulator he thought that he was ready for his first flight.
Unfortunately this was not the case.
Back to the simulator . ..

i did the same thing on my second flight ..very minor ... just replace the prop with the spare one ;)

first of three quarter throttle ...toss and count 1001 1002 ...then up elevator slow as the plane rises ...then turn with the airos TINY MOVEMENTS you tip stalled everyone does it ... try the twenty dollar simulator from nitro plane also when it hit the ground POWER DOWN thats why the prop broke ...

Hahahahaha, just did the same thing this afternoon.did not stop until the 7th drop and lost the magnet that holds the canopy(tied it with a handkerchief).I thought reading is enough and wont need a simulator.Guess I am Wrong big time! The sound of the brushless motor alone rattled me. Good luck to both of us!

mine did that on maiden the CG was off, it was too far back
