@DollaBiIIz A great many laws would now fall back to the states: Civil Rights, privacy, miscegenation laws, citizenship, legislation regarding abortion, homosexuality, and sexual behavior. Because of the amendment, states who made such behaviors illegal or regulated private behavior are prohibited to do so. Make no mistake, Dr.Paul is very conservative. Because there may be SOME areas of agreement doesn't make all of his stances right.

@DollaBiIIz the 14th Amendment also contains the "due process" clause and "equal protection" clause. These were the Reconstruction clauses that kept the former slave states from making laws affecting the newly freed slaves. In Dred Scott v.Sanford, Black people had NO rights and were NOT citizens. The amendment was the legislative remedy for that decision. Rep. Paul, would indeed weaken or appoint judges who share that same viewpoint.

LOL! These Ron Paul supporters should NOT be on mics or megaphones if they aren't smart enough to do their research first. EVERYBODY got pwnd in this video. RP 2012, @nauiocelotl I hope that was you in the video LOL

The 14th amendment was not part of the original constitution just as the 18th amendment (prohibition) is not... Its the reason it is called an AMENDMENT. It provokes immigrants to illegally cross borders and have children in the U.S. This video is a "pwn" to the people whom think they're "pwning."

u a racist mutha fucka -_- lol :50

Wow is right. The 14th amendment doesn't just guarantee citizenship to anyone born in the United States. Read the freakin amendment! JUST READ IT!
-
Repealing the 14th amendment is perfectly Constitutional and is protecting the United States from a flood of immigration that is causing massive crime and overcrowding problems. We would have zero population growth, higher wages and much lower crime if illegal immigration were to be controlled. UK and other nations have outlawed birthright citizenship in such cases, we in the US must now have a convention in order to repeal it. Ron Paul is very pro-minority and against racism of all kinds.
-
This argument is void given Ron Paul does not want to repeal the 14th amendment. Clearly people need to do their Ron Paul research before getting heated about his stances.

@whompusfan77 Because in 2012 none of these are issues. These were reflections of a completely different culture. Slavery for one which was a norm at the time. Even blacks kept slaves. We have a black president. I will fight for equality with my "black" friends.
The atrocities that killed the Native culture were unconstitutional. I'm sure Ron Paul would have been there standing up for them.
Women voting is now culturally appropriate and important.
Lets end the war.

And those claiming that somehow addressing the potential problems of illegal immigrants as racist are themselves thinking from a racist mindset. Illegal immigrants aren't limited to any race they can be of European, Asian, Hispanic, or Middle Eastern descent.
@brscth LOL! You don't know shit. The 14th amendment is not the constitution. It is only one amendment. The constitution existed for hundreds of years without the 14th amendment. If it is repealed, the constitution will still exist. DID YOU READ THE AMENDMENT YET ASSHOLE? DON'T REPLY UNTIL YOU READ IT! The 14th amendment is the birthright citizenship amendment. DON'T REPLY UNTIL YOU GET THAT THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULL! Mexicans have been here for thousands of years idiot. Google it.
