I rebuilt my tired 1966 C100 engine with an S65 piston following advice from helpful folks at the Pushrod Honda Yahoo Group. The engine also has a new alloy head of unknown origin that I picked up at a bike jumble.
I think the bigger piston takes the engine to somewhere around 70cc. Compression must be higher too, since I had to profile the top edge of the piston to fit into the combustion chamber of the head.
This is the engine running with original 50cc carb and new (original-spec) C100 exhaust.
The bike itself is painted in U-Pol etch primer, which has a strange flat blue-grey colour that I really like. It is set up for a solo seat, with rack on the back. The wheel rims, hubs, rack and small ancillary parts have all been powdercoated satin black. The engine itself is bare unpolished aluminium.
