Sept 28 1985, Rangers 0 Aberdeen 3 (McLeish 30, Stark 38, Hewitt 84)

RANGERS: Walker, Burns, Munro, McPherson, Paterson, Durrant (McMinn), McCoist, Russell, Williamson (McKinnon), Bell, Cooper

ABERDEEN: Leighton, McKimmie, Mitchell, Stark (Gray), McLeish, Miller, Black, Simpson, McDougall (Falconer), Cooper, Hewitt

Drama at Ibrox. Rangers players Hugh Burns and Craig Paterson were sent off in this appalling violent spectacle. No sooner had Burns departed than McLeish headed in the ensuing free-kick. Then it was Paterson's turn to walk after body-checking Cooper. In the second half there was even a pitch invasion.

  • @calvers72 yeah because we all loved abusing people based on their religion back in the day you knuckle-dragging scumbag. Time you woke up to the 21st century unlike your hateful team who hopefully will be no more when the HMRC pulls the plug. Couldn't happen to a nice bunch of scum.

  • That's what fitba' should be like... fuck the pishy, sanitised esspeehell!

  • Same old Rangers, always Rangers.

  • Your spot on I wont see days like that again simply because your vile club will no longer be in business, Rangers FC R.I.P

and just for the record I cant stand Celtic FC either.

  • @rotorking You'll wear the fucking video oot then dolly because you'll never see days like that again. Inverness Caley are the top boys up north now and it's fun toying with you's knowing how much you's HATE and it's absolutely hilarious watching the state you's get yourself into at these games as the misery continues. Maybe ye should merge with another sad but rather nasty organisation from Glasgow's east end that masquerades as a football club? There's obviously a bond between both mobs. WATP!

  • @karpyan22 You're right about the media ie Tims with typewriters and certain others with an axe to grind some who are not even football fans but also add in agenda driven rats like McConnell and Salmond, CELTIC FANS and too many other fans who've all jumped on the bandwagon of OFFENDEDNESS and you get what have we have now.. stadiums less than half full & near empty with Soccer Customers & shit sterile atmospheres but no use pissing and moaning about it now. Rangers WILL adapt, as for the rest?

  • @scottishladkev

  • As a dons fan, great to see, but it's clear that the passion has left the game. That match had everything (including afters by all accounts). Now we're debating in parliament whether you can open your mouth or not. Sad days. Media to blame.
