Paperback Writer was recorded by the Beatles in 1966 as a single. In this iVideosongs title, Beatles LOVE producer Giles Martin explains the significance of the song's bass track which revolutionized the sound of British rock music. iVideosongs instructor Rob Schumann demonstrates both guitar parts in this riff-based Beatles classic. Beginning electric players will enjoy learning the power chord rhythms and signature riff of this fast tempo song in standard tuning. This is a sample of a longer video available for download at iVideosongs.com.

  • all the negative comments r stupid... cant you see this is a PREVIEW LESSON? not the full lesson

  • what's with all the negative comments? it is about 5 seconds of a lesson, a preview, which is what it does say in the title, and the son of george martin aka the beatles producer giving you some background on the song... if you wanna learn go find a full version or something. what did you expect to learn in 36 seconds?
