  • well I supposed you were using the 3D program blender, but if you coded from scratch that's awsome. I'm not a programmer therefore my knowledge is limited. However, how do you define the behaviour of predators and boids? Are they hard coded? Or are you able to change initial values?

  • @efioram Boids follow three simple rules: fly towards the center of mass of local birds, match velocity with local birds and dont fly too close to local birds. you can then add to this as you desire, such as to fly towards a particular goal, or in this case to fly away from predators in range. this proves fairly simple to code, and can be tweaked by setting the interactino range, and weighting of the rules. Psuedocode can be found by googleing
