Here is my old 1922 6HP Novo running. I have retarded the timing and still it jumps up from the floor when it fires!
The engine weighs about a thousand pounds including the skids.

  • After thought!

    if it's like the old Gray's marine engines?

    they where a two stroke, but sililer stroke.

    Then you would maybe try 14 deg. before

    top dead center.

  • what about say? 8 deg after top dead center?
