FIFA 09 - On Yer Bike Achievement

I forced Preston's keeper to come up for a corner to get the screamer achievement which I didn't record and then moments after that goal I broke to the left, crossed it to Ebanks-Blake and picked up my "On Yer Bike" and "What a Beauty" achievements.

Very lucky and a nice strike.

I just used a normal cross for this video and in other times I've seen a striker go for the bicycle kick it's from a slightly harder normal cross so it goes over the back of him and then hit shoot and hope someone does the acrobatics required.

I've seen on other forums that most people got it from going to the line and crossing in from there as the winger will usually aim it back behind the forwards.

I wish I could say there's a technique to it but like the diving header it seems to be just luck and having your player and the ball in the right place at the right time.

All I can say is get a goal up in your game and then keep hammering crosses into the box and maybe you'll get lucky.

from my experience only certain players can do it, players that show the acrobatics in real life, from fifa 07 i know that players like Robinho, Ronaldinho, C. Ronaldo, Eto'o, rooney, aimar and messi, perhaps it is the same on 09, i have played bout 30 games with united however and no player has even attempted it yet

I've done it a few times now with Wolves and I've done it online in a Clubs match (that's how a bud of mine got the provider achievement, was a sweet shot).

So I think any player can do it, the ball and player just have to be in the right place at the right time.

I've done it with Fernando Torres. Cross from the loose player on the left puts in a cross just behind him and smack bang into the middle of the net with power without hitting the floor : P

when i play Fifa on the PS3 i usually play as Liverpool against any skill opponent right, every time i do the bicycle kick Gerrard always smacks it at the bar then torres will come in for the rebound and bang it over the net. or when i does go in the net its offside lol

today on fifa09 i almost got that achievment from 25yards out but my own player was in the way and i never do over heads:O
