Fire Pro Wrestling Combination Tag - 1989

Footage from the very first Fire Pro Wrestling game ever, Fire Pro Wrestling Combination Tag for the PC Engine (Turbo Graphx 16). In game footage includes a match between Road Warrior Hawk and Dos Caras. My apologies for the crappy match itself, but the system only had 3 buttons, and the game was limited to only about 4 moves per character, a far cry from the amount of moves found in the more recent Fire Pro games. This game became available on the Nintendo Wii's virtual console in Japan early in 2007, perhaps we'll see it in North America? (they've released a couple japanese games on the North American VC, why not the Fire Pro that started it all?)

You should make more of these original Fire Pro videos. Do Inoki vs Jumbo. Bruiser Brody vs. Pirate #2 would also be good.

I might be able to make a couple, but you couldn't choose who you wanted to be in these old ones, so I'd have to play through until I got to those matches. You also couldn't sim as far as I can tell, which means my crappy playing will have to suffice too :-)
