  • One person cannot be everywhere at once. George Clooney has made a HUGE effort to help other people, and I admire him for it. Most could care less. George is famous enough, he does not need to enhance his image or career on the backs of innocent lives and tragedies. Some celebrities have a heart as well. ;)

  • FIVE. so many people could just watch Ocean's Thirteen, go to the mall & spend loosely, party every night, & live this life like he/she is all that matters. that would be so easy but it would also be so lazy & selfish of that person. fun is fun but importance is importance, too, & important subjects shouldn't be ignored from iraq to child abuse to darfur to so many other subjects. everyone should take the time and devote themselves to bettering this world, & in the process, themselves. THE END.

  • @snagsnapper China is involved , Sudan provides 10% of there oil , The main issue at the moment is Abyei ,a major oil area .the oppressed north is wanting this area for the oil ,the south wants to separate from the rule of Bashir

  • FOUR. also, it seems like some of the ignorant individuals commenting here expect him to be some sort of God and find the ability to fix all of mankind and talk about ALL tragedies. that'd take a life-time. yet, he's speaking up about a subject that needs spoken up about it. yes, other subjects are in need of that, too, but that isn't george clooney's fault. i think its rude for people to criticize him for just trying to help & do good in this world. i really respect him and so should you.

  • THREE. just because george clooney is doing all this work to expand the knowledge about sudan doesn't mean he doesn't care about other countries. i'm sure he does. darfur seems to be a subject he's clung to and understandably so. after all, he's been there & witnessed sufferings first-hand. i wish everyone could to open their eyes. when someone witnesses the suffering of another, whether it be a disease, poverty, or abuse, it's going to hit them harder. its natural to cling to that subject.

  • TWO. unlike some other "celebrities", he is taking the attention he gets from the world & trying to turn it into something good. other "celebs" use it to put more focus on themselves. he is simply drawing attention to innocent victims. i don't believe its a publicity stunt. some "celebs" talk the talk but when it comes to actions, they don't have any to back up the words. he has done so much & gone to such an extent to give a voice to these men, women, and children suffering. that's admirable...

  • ONE. We all share this world. every single person matters. Why do we have to distinguish country from country and race to race and severity to importance? we should all be concerned with anyone who is suffering, by no fault of their own. just because george clooney is putting a lot of his focus on sudan doesn't mean he doesn't care about any other country. this is something important to him...

  • The genocide you american faggots should be concerned with most is the one your waging in Iraq. You self righterous parasites.

  • Steven Spielberg is trying to get China to get involved ;maybe China can send a half billion people, technology and a willingness for interracial procreation;might work.

  • Yes i am sure that will be at the forefront of thier minds

  • It is human nature
