Me with my dj set up with the addition of 4 more mackie speakers. Kinda a small dance but thought I should break in my speakers before my big rig set up the following weekend!

  • Whatever the client wants I guess.... Though this client has had me for the last 7 years 2 times a month... I guess I'm not doing it right. :/

    Whichever,

Please read the comment on the video before you post... breaking in speakers, I think I've stated that about four times now, but you know.....

  • I noticed you use a Mackie SWA1801Z Powered Subwoofer. What are they like? Im interested in getting 2 for my band.

  • The mackie speakers have been pretty good so far, I blew one a couple years back though.

    I could use four more!

  • lol... "Disc Jockey"

  • i only got 2!!

  • beautiful

  • OK so i try to stay positive when i reply to people but just out of curiosity what the hell do you need 6 mackies for, thats just overkill it takes up space you have to haul it all plus the massive light show that was neat but i still think its overkill. No offence intended but it might be time to downgrade a bit just think of your back in 10 years of hauling gear every weekend

  • hey nice man!,

maybe you should put some sealing afrond of the stage, so you can't see the space underneath it.

  • You Should Sell All Them SRM's And Buy 2 SA1521. I Bet You Wont Regret It =)

  • No need for that many speakers, i run 4 ev sx100,s with 2 sb122,s as FOH for a 6 piece live band. The sound fills venues of 200 people easy with everything miced.

  • At a dance at my school on Halloween (see my vids) they had only two Mackie loudspeakers and one Mackie SWA1501 (one 15" subwoofer), and they highs were as loud as the lows, with the sub maxed out. In my opinion, the bass should be at the same level or louder than the highs/mids, but not enought to drown it out, but never less bass than highs. That's not good either. I'm just curious if that two 18" subwoofer can keep up.
