This was about my 10th time trying to get an LM386 circuit to work, and it finally works.

  • I don't give a shit you flat-fuck

  • @MrDixiepride1234 cool, only took you 2 weeks to come up with that brilliant response

  • you sound like a nerdy fag and you listen to some pretty gay music

  • @MrDixiepride1234 lol, you think I give a shit if you don't like my music?

  • Whoops that was my other account but that's still me. By the way, running this thing with 4 AA batteries is giving it an incredible battery life. I'm using 4 rechargeable NiMH's, still on the first charge since I built this thing, and I use it an hour or two every day.

  • can you make a video how to make

  • The schematic can be found on the national semiconductor LM386 page, and the only thing else you need to do is build a case and mount the speaker, batteries, switches, etc.

  • Sounds pretty loud?

  • Well first, I built it on some proto-board, the stuff with the copper lines on it, and the noise was incredible. Some other problems I had were with using a socket or not, and I could never get the National Semiconductor chips to work. My circuit worked with another manufacturer's 386. Look for a KA386 if you want an alternative. The variation of the circuit that I built is the bass boost version. Works quite well with the 5 watt speaker I have in that thing.

  • hey what was wrong with all your previous attempts? and what did you change to fix it. Im about to start building my 4th attempt haha. So, breadboard or protoboard, spread out or close together components, impedance of speaker, did you really "ground" it or is it just to the negative battery terminal, what gauge wires, and which of the schematics did you follow (20 gain no bypass, 200 gain bypass, bass boost, etc.)? Thanks

  • wow, kinda gay, kinda real gay
