  • @ParsoProductions Just about every jazz player that ever lived.

  • king

  • @elementalepidemic Judging by the video you have on your profile, this means that you have been playing drums since you were...3?

  • @willshiznit86 Its called Ive played drums for 10 years. I know what Im doing. Thats just my setup. I play like like.

  • @elementalepidemic you obviously have never played drums in your entire life.

  • I've noticed that I HATE traditional set-ups. The best set-up for ANY kit I like to use is what I call "The Gillespie". Its Aaron Gillespie's set-up when he played for Underoath. All toms are level as is the snare. And all the cymbals are level. The hats are at about shoulder level and you play solid beats. Not any thing too fancy. All in all, Beat the absolute piss outta the drums and here you go. Its awesome. I HATE when drummers tilt drums. It annoys me. And when they tilt crashes drastically

  • @hypetrot True. But what annoys me is that the one who reacts like they are too good and really knows nothing

  • Hitting the shell is TOTALLY okay, its a texture. So they get a little messed up on the outside? they still sound the same. I know because I've used it on a lot of songs where I need a pitched click rather a tom sound. It really doesn't matter, its all style.

  • Drumming videos are quite funny, they usually mention rimming :P
