These "Animal" vids are the only realistic knife techniques I've seen on youtube. So many people show demonstrations with slow-motion attackers helpfully holding still as the "master" proceeds to kung-fu the piss out of them. Unless the person you're practicing with is prepared to actually fight back - at full speed - then the techniques you're doing are just fantasy.

Amazing how we have those out there that would actually slam what Mac Young is trying to show here,if you have any insight whatsover as a fighter or martial artist,you wil know that this is EXACTLY how most knifings occur!! There is No dick dancing, moving around kicking boxing type footwork nonsense going on because, in about 99.99 % of knife assaults, the victim didnt see it coming!!! A true knifer is not going to tell you he's going to stab you he just does!!!!
