  • I found this helpful. I think for women, the hardest part about being a gifted adult is simply that if you are not one of the ones who has a smart people job...there are still lots of ways to express it but it can seem...well, just plain old weird. For some Mensa will be key, for some the work life, for others - it will show through volunteer activities or community and family endeavors or even 'funny hobbies'...I like how there was the use of Nancy Drew the dectective as "a gifted girl".

  • By the way, students who are Gifted and Learning Disabled are called Twice Exceptional.  I know because I'm a Twice Exceptional adult.
