I read that she started out as a dancer in a MV way back in 2003 at the tender age of 13 , think she and the singer belonged to the same company. then started acting soon after in the k-drama stairway to heaven, so she hardly a beginner or newcomer, in fact she could be called a seasoned pro after 8/9 years in the business.
