  • Thanks for video, and 1 question,

So which 1 of these 2 cameras would you suggest to buy?

  • @whatthehellisiteee neither, if you need to ask then you will not be ready for either of these, i suggest you go with the nikon d7000, its an amazing camera and great sensor

  • Good job. The DOF is equal from the sensors but new photographers think that there not because with a full frame camera you have to get closer to get the equal framing as a crop sensor view. So the camera moves closer giving the false sense that DOF is thinner on full frame which all your changing is your subject distance to camera.

  • @MrRLPhoto so very correct! but i do like how beginner photographers insist that they are correct before knowing the facts

  • Hi Great video by the way!!

I wonder if you can make a d700 vs D3 tutorial on ISO and sharpness??

    Till then keep on shooting:)

  • @VaritadDeCai em there is no difference, it is the same sensor, just different bodies

  • @miplev they are the same focal length. changing the size of the sensor does not change the focal length of the LENS. How about you learn about optics before you make such a comment.

  • @davitzeiro no it doesnt, a larger sensor has no affect on DOF,

focal length, aperture, and subject distance are all that affect DOF

A larger sensor means you can get closer to the subject to have the same FOV thus giving a shallower depth of field, but that is just the same as changing the subject distance. check the video response video What is DOF

  • Ok Dom sound good!! So if the sensor is the same than if i had a d800 it would be as great sharpness and ISO as the D4....then is piontless to buy the D4 when you can get the same pictureimage quality on the d800.

  • I just bought this camera. They are impossible to find. It took me a month to find a new one. I guess they are slowing down production for the d800 that is supposedly soon coming out.

  • @dombower Absolutely correct Dom!

  • @Charizmm if there is no battery in the body it should still work. you will need aa batteries to get the fast fps
