let me make this clear -- the fact that other groups want to put signs up is not my issue -- the fact that process was not followed and it went straight to "We will sue" threats is what upset me --- If they had followed process and been denied and another group approved - then that would be a legitimate argument --- but just trying to sue and starting a stink without following process is not right --

Great video, but once correction. Our founding documents read we have freedom OF religion, not freedom FROM religion. Big difference. The atheist quote it the wrong way which is with the From. Once again, great video but thats a big difference

So you would fully support menorahs in the courthouse? Islamic prayer carpets in public school hallways? Wiccan pentagrams on schoolbuses? They're not physically hurting you, and they are as much public property as this lawn.

Further, why not make the creche less revisionist and replace those silly Northern European models with dark-skinned/black models? These would probably be closer to the reality of the times.

@purplelady21 First off let me apologize for my previous remark. It was inflammatory and does nothing to address the real issue at hand. Being a reactionary and allowing emotions to get the best of me is truly not my style.That said I think the best course of action in a situation like that in Athens, TX is to ban ALL religious displays on government property. It is a bad practice to mix religion with government and historically has never had positive results.

@ganggan I am not a pinhead - in this county taxpayers are allowed to petition to put displays on government property that their monies pay for --- no other group petitioned to put up a display - now another group is mad because no one in their demographic petitioned for their particular belief system --

ok~ yes im aware gluttony is a sin and im working on loosing weight~ unlike some who are working on being kind~ also in the video i said it wouldnt both me if other religious groups put up displays ~ this video is about the lack of self sensorship~ in essence if you do not like what others do~ dont participate or watch their videos~
