i just got a new MBP and I cannot turn of the Trackpad Handwriting all the time. I cannot get out of it so I have to force my computer to turn off. it's getting on my nerve

you need the new one with the multi-touch.

so there is no way i can get it unless i get the new macbook pro?

All macbooks are multi-touch now including the new macbook white, but not sure about the macbook air.
