@Fuckmyfatassoneeye It's not the caution that made me perceive you in this way, it's your tone. There's something to be said about communicating online, and its that the only things you have to go on are words and your own prejudices. So, I labeled you as such based on the tone and wording of your comments, and my own opinion.
What we see as "truth" is often based on bias, not reasoning. Your opinion is a mirror of facts and others view you as a worrywart. You're both right in your own minds.

@IvaAdams However. If me not sticking my child in a product that has been rated in the top 5 for over 10 years for being unsafe if that makes me snooty, bossy, a worrywart. Im fine with that. The choice a baby has is the choices you make for it. You wouldnt allow your defenseless baby do the things your 5 year old would do. Its called rights, wrongs, and responsibility.
Im sure you are the same way. If someone told you. Hey your baby can get seriously hurt in that. You wouldnt say. Screw it
-
@IvaAdams I dont believe saying this product is unsafe and I would hope they wouldnt use it is telling someone how to raise their child. I can see how you got to this point, especially after the other post, BUT had someone not tried to tell me I was wrong, based on their opinion. When truth is truth and facts are facts.
Simple as this. Someone wants to have their kids play in a dumpster. Do it. They arent my kids.
-
@Fuckmyfatassoneeye And who the hell are you to tell other people how to raise their children? You may mean well, and what you are saying may be based in fact--you never know how a product will hold up--but you just seem like a very snooty, very bossy worrywart, in a way which makes me pity any children you have. Ah, well! To each his own, right?

If 500 people get into car accidents in a toyota and only 400 drive Fords but the brakes cut out. Which is most unsafe? If you want to talk about parent safety we can, but dont bring it up in a conversation about PRODUCT SAFETY. It holds no merit. Kind of like your whole stance. Just because a baby loves something, doesnt mean its safe for them. Im sure my baby would think a shiney gun would be nice to have and hold BUT IM NOT GOIN TO GIVE IT TO HER. Just like I wouldnt give her a unsafe product

I dont recall talking about a WALKER and yeah I know the number 12% for walkers. I am talking about a bouncer. Also, we are talking about the safety of the product NOT THE PARENT. You have no control over the product, but lets get real There is a reason Jolly Jumpers have been the in the top 5 of most recalled products over the last decade. There is a reason you hear about accidents and DEATHS from them yearly.
Youre trusting a latch on a door frame hooked to a bungee HANGIN OVER YOUR KIDS HEAD
-
You know, more injuries happen in those so called "stable" play structures than in Johnny Jump-Ups. Look up the fatalities in walkers every year. Bounchers can tip. They can break. They can fall off when parents put them on tables or couches. Everything is dangerous if not used correctly. Nothing can "assure your child's safety." That's YOUR jobs as a parent to supervise your child in the toy and make sure everything is installed and working properly.
-
@monny287 Directions huh. Take out of box. Clamp onto top of doorframe. You have NO IDEA if that is going to hold or not. You can use it, and all the other parents too. Im not risking my child life. I'll stick to the bouncers that are on the floor. Not with a clamp or latch that when released could kill my child.
Seriously. Spend the extra 20 dollars to ASSURE your childs safety. Its worth it
-
Not really. Most newer models have clamps, rather than latches, that allow a firm grip on a doorframe. Plus, most injuries to babies with equipment happen because of parental error. Directions are there for a reason. They're not supposed to be used when kids can walk or over (usually) 25 pounds. Not to mention babies LOVE these things and they're great for development.
@MrLegendalive you are a legend in your own mind... this movie is 7 years old and was real. I wish I had the time to do fake movies as so many have suggested.
