KA-BOOM is a Ghanaian hi-life outfit with Paapa Jeh Mensah on lead and backing vocals, drums and percussions. Paapa Jeh is a singer/songwriter, composer, arranger, performer and music producer. He's a master drummer who once worked worked with the likes of C.K. Mann & Paapa Nyankson on their hit album 'Asafo B'esuon funky hi-life as a kit drummer for Carousel 7 in Ghana. Once a prominent member of British disco funk band Hi-Tension. He has also performed with Pat Thomas, A.B. Crentsil, Lee Duodoo, Ronnie Laws, Osibisa, studio session with Steel Pulse, and many others.
This experienced musician brings his musical influences and attainments, live on stage to feed you with a rich taste of Ghanaian music styles, based on renditions of old school classic dance floor Hi Life music, which is the contemporal Ghanaian music. As a versatile entertaining music act, KA-BOOM caters for all occasions with their fusion fo other classic dance floor music such as Soul, Calypso and Reggae, played with a strong African flavour.
