Installation of Sopcast

1.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ferramroberto/sopcast
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install sopcast-player

2.

Download: sopcast-player_vlc1.1x-fix.zip
extract: /usr/share/sopcast-player/lib

3. Finally maybe you have to deinstall vlc and sopcast and delete the hidden folder in your home directory. You can see the hidden folder with pressing "ctrl + h". After that you have to reinstall again with these commandos:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ferramroberto/sopcast
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install sopcast-player

  • the program was not running so i tried to run it in terminal and i get this error: Segmentation fault
