@godderslfc I know that it's not a operational base anymore but why are they closing it down?? They should keep it for RIAT! I will miss RIAT being at Fairford!

@motorcrosser12 it will probably be one of the last one's at Fairford as they start to shut the base down over the next few years :(
if you want some great views head over to the crash gate at Marston Hill and/or the public park at the village of Meysey Hampton down the road (not be be confused with Marston Meysey) - great views, especially of the red arrows over Meysey Hampton.

@motorcrosser12 it's next to the farmer's field for caravans, cars and cyclists, just off Marston-Hill, think it might be called Ryhmes field.

nice clip thanks - was this taken from Rhymes Field? By the fence where the emergency service are?
I was at Totterdown Farm which is great but Rhymes has to be one of the best spots to view an airshow in the whole world!
