My first serious mesh build on the test grid. You might think it looks familiar, that's because it's essentially a copy of the center of the Ahern Welcome Area.. however unlike Ahern, the entire build is just one single object. Excluding only the bench which I detached after having trouble uploading the mesh.

The model was made using Google SetchUp.

One thing to note: the scale of mesh is totally wrong right now, originally I attempted to build this structure to scale.. turns out a real meter in SketchUp is equal to about 4 meters in SL, hence the dimensions of the SU model is 100 meters square. It rezes as shown and does not need to be scaled.

  • @NeilPiersRobinson It's global illumination, e.g. dynamic.

  • is that shading baked in by sketchup or dynamic?
