In this episode Willard discusses the need to measure the progress we make in our lives by comparing our growth to where we have come from, not to where we desire to be. Often our vision of where we are going is a vision of "perfection" and we easily miss the amazing distinctions along the way when we are not measuring the progress.

Great post, Will! I am also expecting the perfection since I started to change and work on myself. Allowing myself to be how I am and enjoying the path seems to be the key. We'll progress on that. Thanks and regards from Spain

Thanks for your work it has done alot to help me grow over the last few months.I wonder if when one finds teachings of profound self realization that manafest in the realist sense understanding is the need of writing progress down useful? Many Sages abide within only learning from our source/God.
