i would move the rotors back more it seemed like it wanted to climb too hard and it would stall

Does the tail work as ailerons as well as an elevator, or is there another method you are using to control roll?

The roll is controlled by rudder only. The rotors have dihedral which causes the yaw/roll coupling.
