Continental Flight 1404 a Boeing 737-500 Crash at Denver Airport : 40 injured including a Pilot

It was a miracle that no one was killed when Continental flight 1404 veered sharply off a runway of Denver airport during takeoff, which burst into flames and nearly broke apart. The 110 passengers and five crew members escaped miraculously. However, 40 people suffered injuries including broken bones, pilot was one them. The plane veered off course about 2,000 feet from the end of the runway and did not appear to have gotten airborne.
It was a Houston-bound Continental Flight 1404 from Denver airport. The accident happened Saturday evening) at 6:18pm (12/20/08). The entire right side of the Boeing 737-500 was burned and melted plastic from overhead compartments dripped onto the seats.

In the animation I think I see Satan working on the left engine with a wrench. I bet he either reversed the rotation of the lacrance valve or inverted the external reductanator in the the thrust reverser. Either would doom the plane.

that building was on the upper part of the ravine we all had to run to it. and yes the plane was almost completely silent but thats mostly because half of us were about passed out in our seats. i thought it was just a bad dream myself.

having been on the plane... only one of the flight attendants was capable of doing their job, both pilots were knocked out from the force of hitting the bottom of the ravine. really the fact that we got off that plane with no one going completely nuts was astonishing especially since there was a massive fire broken out in the cabin by the time we came to a stop. someone had even caught on fire but i guess the surreality of it all aloud people to not lose their heads.
