This one was found in the left cubicle for the normal toilets in the Lakeside toilet.
It has a Shires bowl again but this time it has a Fordham Elan cistern. Rare nowadays, only seen it a few times before.
Not much to say on this one, flush is very long, powerful and good sounding. I wish the newer cisterns still flushed like this but now 6 litre is only allowed now for new installations.
good filling up noise, it sounds like my shires lynx

Yes,sucky cisterns should be removed and nice ones should be retained.

I can imagine how it'd feel having a nice toilet cistern then having to change it. Though I'd be pretty happy if my upstairs toilet broke and needed replacing, even if it was replaced with a common Armitage Shanks, at least they flush better.

Yes,you are right. The Fordham was worn out.I was quite upset about it actually.

It's probably because the Fordham was worn out sadly.

It seems to be more powerful than the Fordham.

Yes I can see you have a Poly cistern now. At least it still sounds good and is powerful.

But the sad thing is the cistern was replaced many years ago.

Yes the last time I saw one was a good few years back.
Wow you were lucky to have a rare cistern and toilet bowl combined.
