That's another Strike against Apple for too much hype and not enough Iphone to meet the demand. Besides some of the apple stores I've see lately only had about 10 people standing in line. If you want to sacrifice working for a living for a plastic internet-in-your-pocket, then we'll see who the smart one is! I know exactly what I'm talking about!

Actually, Apple will not sell iPhones by Internet or Phone iPhones or reserve, it's a first come-first serve basis, I just got my iPhone out of Seattle, and it was 2 Weeks after the realease, THERE WAS A LINE BEFORE THE STORE EVEN OPENED FOR THE PHONE, KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT BEFORE YOU SHOOT YOUR MOUTH OFF!

Some New Yorkers waited in line for a week?! Talk about losing a week out of their life. They could just order it online or come back a week after its release. I guess that would diminish their joy and satisfaction.

nutty. it's a fukkin phone. just wait.

Ok I'm here to say I flew to New York 2 weeks ago and I was waiting in this line for a week.
Its obvious Sandy Studio just want attention by posting his stupid comments.
Just tell him what you think of him
Sandy Studio EAt Shit and die you faggot!
You're twisting the truth for journalistic punch. Yes, "some" people have been waiting a week: a group of less than 10 people who don't even care about the iPhone. My point is this: line demographics are slowly changing over the years. There was a HUGE line today at this location, but the interesting thing is that it scaled up quickly during the night--i.e., logarithmically (an example of the long tail). My point: chaos theory is having more and more of an impact on societal movement(s).

I exaggerated nothing, and this is far from a Story - I was there, I saw, I asked, I recorded. That's it. I think you're taking this a bit seriously.
Also, if this:
"My point is this: line demographics are slowly changing over the years. There was a HUGE line today at this location, but the interesting thing is that it scaled up quickly during the night..."
is/was your point, then you should have probably made that point initially and refrained form impugning my "journalistic ethics."

They have NOT been waiting a week. I've walked by every single morning, and most afternoons, all week; I work in the area. ONLY about 5 people have been camped all week long, and they were a PROTEST group just camping there to garner publicity for their cause. Creepsleepy, get your facts straight!

I have my facts strait: people have been waiting in line for a week. This has been widely reported, and was confirmed by the two security guards.
