just looked on wiki, nowhere man was released on 'yesterday and today' in america only (which is where i am). In the UK and all other versions they feature nowhere man on rubber soul.

When Capitol received the recordings from EMI, they remixed the tracks to suit the "American" market, i.e. with more reverb and stereo separation (the famous Sun Studio sound). The CDs were based on the British Lps, not the American albums. After Sgt. Pepper, both are the same.
