  • I love the way he never sings the same lyric twice a true class act ....god bless him

  • @gonzocurt Me, too! It was Tartar Field at Wayne State. photos of it are in Gallery 3 on his UK website. it was summer 1968. also saw him open for BB King and the Stones at Olympia-- Nov. 1969.

  • very kewl song!!!!!!!

  • @customsuzuki No doubts about TR's prowess, especially back in the day.

I do hope he bought some property or hid a few bucks. It's sad when the brilliant old cats have to scrounge in their Autumn years.

  • @pyannaguy Terry was asked by Jimmy Page to join his new band he was putting together but Terry said no because he had just released his first album and was going on tour. He later called Jimmy to say he had seen a great singer and drummer in a club in England. That was Robert Plant and Bonzo. The rest is history. If you have doubts about Terry's vocal abilities at that time check out the videos of Superlungs or Rich Kid Blues on the right (yxan) with the old Pics of terry from the late 60's

  • Saw him open for Cream and the Moody Blues 40 years ago in Baltimore. Just TR, an organist and drummer and they were mezmerizing: "Season of the Witch" and "Tinker Tailor" - He held 10,000 people in the palm of his hand.

I think I read where Jimmy Page was considering him for Led Zeppelin before Robert Plant.

Terry Reid: I wish you well!

  • WOW!!! What a sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet version. T/Y for the vid.

  • Nash was best friends with Terry and he actually took it to the Hollies. They recorded it right before Nash left, but unfortunately as was the case with the CSN version later done, those versions never saw the light of day for decades!

  • if you're about to bash terry in any way, go and listen to his albums, then come back here and apologize for thinking about it.
