Advantage 'Rockin Robin'

I animated the lead singing center dog muzzle in SoftImage. I rendered the 9 layers and composited and colour corrected them in Eddie before the individual elements were assembled in Flame. Flame artists did the cat and dog eye work.
Research & development: I developed the rig for the dog muzzles (a tricky challenge) and tested 3D tracking software. (Others in our team did 2D/3D tracking, lighting and beta fur.)

I never saw this one on tv. The cat is totally not to scale with the other dogs. He like the same daze as the jack russel.

I would love to see the first Advantage commercial again - it starts with "if you don't use Advantage, scratch your ear, if you don't use Advantage, scratch your rear. For a month it works with ease, #1 at killing fleas, and it's gentle on a little one like me."

There's a cat at the end that forgets he/she is on a chair and almost falls off. For me, that was the best of all these great ads.

:D Very cute! I love the Border Collie (it reminds me of my Border Collie!) The animation looks okay, although the CG muzzles lack the muscles that should be bunching up as the dogs close their mouths on a phoneme (that is, their mouths don't appear to close completely on a phoneme.)
